That’s because many NASCAR teams use 3M^® Paint Protection Film to shield their expensive paint jobs from high-velocity dirt, sand and gravel. Once applied, paint protection film has a life span of about seven years and needs no maintenance. You can continue to wash and wax your vehicle as you would now. When the film does wear out, it can be easily removed or replaced with no damage.
